Traditionally the Tower is authority, official institutions and isolation, and also a high position.

How to read it

The Tower has two faces. One is institutions — government, the company, the hospital, the courts. The other is solitude: standing high also means standing apart. On relationships the Tower often means keeping a clear boundary, which is not necessarily bad.
